Description
Composite large-scale surface effects maps are presented on this multi-panel map of six testing areas of the Nevada Test Site. Mapped surface effects include cracks, faults, collapse sinks, ground disturbances, and movements on existing faults. This map is the third in a three-part series of U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report maps prepared by the author. Together they provide a comprehensive view of the geologic surface effects produced by some 688 investigated underground detonations conducted at the Nevada Test Site between 1951 and 1992.
