- This interactive CD-ROM contains over 500 overlapping photographic images of the California coastline from Ano Nuevo to Santa Cruz. The images were taken from the R/V David Johnston to illustrate the coastal geology adjacent to part of the Monterey Bay national Marine Sanctuary. The CD includes a regional map, area maps, and individual photographic images. Most of the images when viewed in 300-dpi version will display date, time, and geographic location in the upper left corner. The data points are provided in plain text files and as ArcInfo coverage and shape files. The CD is compatible with PC, Macintosh , and UNIX systems.
